From grassroots to the largest stage in the Netherlands: tonight’s lecture focuses on various queer communities in the city. We interview four guests about their careers, their role within a community, initiating events, concepts, or spaces for queers, and their relationships within these. How do you ensure proper representation? How do inclusion and exclusion relate to this? How does artistic expression relate to organizing, bringing together, and programming? What opportunities and threats do commercial interests pose in this context?
