AUDIOVISUAL CLUB NIGHT WHERE BORDERS BETWEEN LIVEACTS, DJ'S AND IMAGE CULTURE BLUR
On Saturday April 22, Freaky Dancing organizes an audiovisual club night in WAS. at the Werkspoorkathedraal. With this third edition, boundaries between live acts and DJs fade and post-punk, electro and industrial become intertwined with visual culture.
In WAS. you will experience an energetic and experimental b2b from Identified Patient and mad miran, we welcome post-punk techno band Mandy, Indiana and Chibi Ichigo brings a boundless rave of hip-hop and techno. You will see performances by the danceable and fashionable no-wave project Elzinga x Baby’s Berserk, United Identities pearl mayo, the UK-driven DJ and producer Thrills in +41 and synthpunk DJ Camy. Also discover the analogue acid house of Mila V, the electronic dreamscapes of Acidic Male and the genre-transcending and personal sets of Victor Metske.
In de Wasruimte you will find the collective R3LN4CHT with an interactive performance installation, the artists Delphine Lejeune and Brian Omen present a new view of a botanical garden and work by the Amsterdam artist Noah Cohen can be seen. Kunsthal Kloof presents a new exhibition curated by the emerging Utrecht designers Flo Kortekaas and Kick Veldman.
