Goldband: the most popular festival act of recent years, winner of the Popprijs 2022, multi-platinum selling artist, but above all, best friends. In the lead-up to their shows at the Ziggo Dome and Sportpaleis in the fall of 2024, the Hague band will perform music from their new album ‘Samen Tegen Elkaar’ for the first time. With nine exclusive shows in mostly small venues that the band has not previously played due to their rapid breakthrough after the corona pandemic, this try-out tour is a unique opportunity to see Goldband in the intimate setting of EKKO.
The characteristic Hague pop group, consisting of Milo Driessen, Karel Gerlach, and De Het Boaz, is not easily pigeonholed and has steadily won the hearts of Dutch and Belgian fans since their first releases in 2019. With a diverse palette of genres and a strong live show, they conquered all major stages in both 2022 and 2023, including Lowlands, Rock Werchter, Pinkpop, and Tomorrowland. As a culmination of their live success, they sold out AFAS Live three times and the Lotto Arena twice within minutes. With this, Goldband has shown that you can achieve your dreams entirely on your own, whether you are a plasterer, bedroom producer, or drama school drop-out.
