A celebration of sound
Le Guess Who? is considered one of the most forward-thinking festivals in the world. The festival is dedicated to sounds that you rarely, if ever, hear elsewhere, offering new perspectives on what is possible within music.
Le Guess Who? returns to Utrecht from November 7-10, 2024, for its seventeenth edition. Over four days, the festival takes over the city with performances from more than 150 artists, taking place in venues like concert halls, theaters, churches, and clubs.
On Thursday, November 7, the lineup includes English experimental musician, rapper, and choreographer Blackhaine; trumpeter, multi-instrumentalist, creative composer/performer, and author Wadada Leo Smith, performing alongside his grandson Lamar Smith; American singer, bassist, and composer Kim Gordon, known for her groundbreaking approach to music; South London singer and musician Wu-Lu, who blends hip-hop with rock and punk; the world premiere of *I; the hybrid and the antidote*, a performance by producer, DJ, and performer Liliane Chlela, featuring Utrecht’s Flare Quartet, Radwan Ghazi Moumneh, Nancy Mounir, and Yara Asmar; Scientist, one of the most prominent figures in the Jamaican music scene; and rapper and producer ELUCID, who returns with a solo show a year after performing as part of Armand Hammer at Le Guess Who?.
