A celebration of sound
Le Guess Who? returns to Utrecht from November 7-10, 2024, for its seventeenth edition. Over four days, the festival takes over the city with performances from more than 150 artists, taking place in venues like concert halls, theaters, churches, and clubs.
Daily special by De Klub at EKKO for €17.50 (6:00 PM – 8:00 PM)
During Le Guess Who?, restaurant De Klub will serve a daily special from Thursday to Saturday between 6:00 PM and 8:00 PM. The menu features curly kale ‘stamppot’ with kimchi, pickles, Amsterdam onions, and miso gravy. No reservation needed—just walk in and grab a seat!
On Saturday, November 9, the program features, among others, the Japanese psych-rock band Bo Ningen, who will present their alternative live soundtrack to Alejandro Jodorowsky’s 1973 magnum opus The Holy Mountain; Mexico-based experimental cellist and composer Mabe Fratti, performing with the London band Shards; DJ Babatr, considered the Godfather of Raptor House; Blanco Teta, a band from the emerging queer Latinx scene, who add improbably but irresistibly modified cello to the sounds of their punk predecessors; the Australian post-apocalyptic acid punk disco of Tropical Fuck Storm; Egyptian artist Abyusif, pushing the boundaries of rap; a collaborative project by renowned electronic experimental musicians Kevin Richard Martin & KMRU; and a very rare, extended set by Theo Parrish, who explores, challenges, and redefines the boundaries of black dance music.
