BOLD AND SOPHISTICATED INDIE ROCK SOUND FROM CHICAGO
Chicago’s four-piece Ratboys idiosyncratically balances between subtle folk pop and a harder indie rock sound. After more than ten years and four studio albums, the band now returns with the new album ‘The Window’, which gives a new life to their sound. More dynamic and diverse than ever before, they alternate fuzzy power pop choruses with warm country sounds, supplemented with unexpected sound experiments such as the addition of a talk box. It makes the band sound as wide as it is intimate and as daring as it is refined. In short, the sound of four friends operating as one unit.
Support: Snow Coats
Snow Coats from Arnhem creates indie folk with a touch of emo, following in the footsteps of artists like Pinegrove, Alex G, and Beach Bunny. What started as a school project took a positive turn: their second album was released in 2022 through the British label Alcopop, earning praise from the influential American music platform Stereogum.
