Spacious indie folk from Los Angeles with an autumnal feel
Note: This concert has been moved to ACU, due to this the doors will open half an hour later this evening (20:00).
Noah Weinman is the creative brain behind the indie folk project Runnner. His autumnal, spacious songs seem to come straight from the bedroom. The Los Angeles-based multi-instrumentalist released his most recent album “Like Dying Stars, We’re Reaching Out” last spring , the first release through the record label Run for Cover. Comparisons to label mates like Pinegrove and Field Medic are within reach, but Runnner always manages to stand out clearly with his nebulous productions and inventive lyrics.
Support: Coaster
The Utrecht based duo Coaster originated from guitarists Bart Appel and Paul Dijkman’s shared love for quiet and slow music. They take inspiration from 90’s and 00’s lo-fi music and transform it into melancholy dreampop. With their warm and subdued slowcore, they want to give appreciation to the small moments in life.
