Born in Mexico, Coco María grew up around the sound of music and quickly developed a love not only for listening to the sounds of her childhood, but for sharing them. Her love of live music led Coco to discover afro-latin universally; rhythms from South and Central America, Brazil, the Caribbean and beyond. Nowadays her selection is a mix of cheerful and obscure jewels, as she already showed during a legendary performance in EKKO at Le Guess Who?.
As a DJ, Wes from Utrecht is always looking for new sounds. He is certainly not unknown in the Utrecht nightlife. Not only is he one of the driving forces behind the Utrecht club night Weerd, Wes also plays a role in the online radio station Stranded FM, and presents his own monthly show Mitureba. With a passion for history, he is always looking for the stories behind the music he plays, which can vary from Brazilian gangster rap to Cape Verdean funaná to gritty Chicago house. Expect a warm show with an eclectic mix of sounds that inspire him wherever and whenever.
