For this edition, two local up-and-coming djs Evi and Jager bring their surprising club sounds to EKKO. Both talents guarantee an evening full of breakbeats, electro and hard house records. In addition, they don’t shy away from some gritty bouncy ghetto-tech tunes.
EVI
Evi you may know from her radio shows at Birdcage, as half of dynamic duo Rapid Transit and as one of the organizers behind Het Complot. During Birdcage Paradise last April, she already transformed EKKO into a warm dance paradise. With her extensive selection of styles and records, Evi will once again provide a whirlwind of bangers.
JAGER
Within the local dance scene, Jager is starting to make quite a name for himself. As one of the regular faces at Utrecht’s music collective Corner Shop, he has played his energetic sets at Open Source Radio, Best Kept Secret and the NAR. With his lightning-fast fingers on the buttons and versatile track selection, Jager is sure to get you dancing.
