This time featuring Brazilian Millos Kaiser and Utrecht’s DJ Pyraña at the helm with colorful sets full of eccentric rhythms and South American sounds. A selection of Samba, House, and Brazilian funk will transport you to the atmosphere of tropical late summer evenings at Club EKKO.
Millos Kaiser
Brazilian producer Millos Kaiser has proven himself as one of the most versatile selectors in recent years. His love for the rich and diverse musical history of his homeland, Brazil, takes center stage and flows into everything he does. In his sets, he blends Brazilian street soul with obscure Bahian sounds and 80s synthesizers, often featuring his own edits. He previously brought his Brazilian spirit to European festivals like Dekmantel and Nuits Sonores, and fresh from Dekmantel Selectors, he’s coming to Utrecht in September, with EKKO being the next stop for his royal visit.
DJ Pyraña
Ellayne Grossmann, better known as DJ Pyraña, has been a part of the Utrecht nightlife scene for some time now; from nights at Café Hart and Klein Berlijn to Stranded FM shows and her Birdcage residency, it’s now time for her to showcase her skills at EKKO. With a focus on Electrocumbia and Latin music, she brings a fresh and powerful set that will get you ready for her successor of the night.
