GARAGEROCKBAND WASTED YOUTH CLUB CELEBRATES RELEASE PARTY WITH UPCOMING BANDS

In honor of the release of the EP ‘Family Weekend,’ the Arnhem-based band Wasted Youth Club brings together six emerging bands under the banner of Family Fuzz Fest. With each of the bands, Wasted Youth Club has written and recorded a song in just three days. During this evening at EKKO, all these acts will perform their own short set, including the song they created together with Wasted Youth Club. From noisepunk to indie rock and back to garage, you’ll witness performances by Bongloard, Knife Massage, Rats and Daggers, Shaemless, The Desmonds, The Super Soakers, and Wasted Youth Club as the inevitable headliner.

Bongloard
Driven by a torturous primal sense of utter despair, this Tilburg trio melds razor-sharp noisepunk and garage rock into a nuclear explosion of sound.

Knife Massage
The four garage rogues from Knife Massage unleash their rebelliousness in a lo-fi guitar battle, resulting in a gritty and uncomplicated combination of punk and rock.

Rats and Daggers
Forever seeking the razor-thin line between heavy and punk, this Utrecht power trio offers a fleeting escape for every soul with their expressive and bottomless energy.

Shaemless
Inspired by bands like The Stooges and The Birthday Party, this dynamic quartet creates intense and sweat-soaked shows with their blend of raw post-punk and garage.

The Desmonds
Straight from the earthquake capital of the Netherlands, this raw and unhinged band makes every venue tremble with their shameless, noisy, and penetrating garage punk.

The Super Soakers
This tight-knit indie rock band, where each member is as interchangeable as they are indispensable, dives together as a quintet into a tangle of inspired lyrics and idiosyncratic refrains.

Wasted Youth Club
During their performances, this party garage band, fueled by sweat, beer, and a quarter-life crisis escapism, breaks through the barrier between band and audience
