A carefully curated night filled with cutting-edge electro, techno, and breakbeats

On October 14th, Het Complot is back at EKKO. A clubnight all about creating an open environment for like-minded individuals with a passion for quality electronic music.  The mission is to provide an accessible event centered around the ultimate audiovisual experience, and with another strong line-up for the upcoming edition:

First up is Alex Ranzino. Alex is definitely no newcomer to this scene. With many dynamic sets played at De School, Bret, and Intercell, Alex brings a unique style behind the turntables that will captivate you from the first to the last track. Get ready for a sonic assault of ’90s techno and electro. Alex’s sets are as powerful as his productions, with releases on labels like Revenge Techniques and Paling Trax. Prepare for uptempo techno grooves, acid-infused 909 tracks, and the full spectrum of Chicago house.

Next up is Jannah. Jannah is well-known in Utrecht with many appearances on Stranded FM. Hailing from Rotterdam and representing Clone Records, she keeps the West Coast sound alive in the Netherlands. Her eclectic sets blend deep electro basslines with progressive breaks. Jannah likes to seduce you with mysterious deviations from the usual club sound, showcasing her extensive musical knowledge.

To complete the lineup, Het Complot invites resident Hauptgast. Utrecht’s adopted son is making waves with regular appearances at local venues and radio stations. Finn is driven by a deep passion for electronic music, making him an eccentric selector behind the turntables. As a producer, Finn seeks out the weird and eerie, presenting his drum machine-driven sound on multiple EPs. Expect fearless club beats in the vein of artists like Delroy Edwards, I-F, and Andreas Gehm.

At Het Complot, we stand for inclusivity and diversity. Our dancefloor is a safe haven where homophobia, transphobia, racism, sexism, and discrimination have no place. If you ever feel uncomfortable or unsafe, don’t hesitate to contact our team or EKKO staff. Your well-being is our top priority, and we will treat all information confidentially. Don’t forget to protect your hearing with earplugs. See you on the dancefloor!
