GRACEFUL FOLK WITH CLEAR VOCAL TONES AND MINIMALIST INSTRUMENTAL ACCOMPANIMENT

“Thoughts about thoughts.” This is how the Texas-born singer-songwriter Jana Horn describes her own lyrics. Minimalistically framed with the sounds of her guitar and sparse bass notes, she creates very beautiful and graceful folk music in which her warm and clear voice takes center stage. In the spring of 2023, she released her second album, ‘The Window Is The Dream.’ This album offers a glimpse into Horn’s inner world, where words and music primarily serve as a bridge to this place. Even more than on her debut album ‘Optimism,’ her songs appear to originate from a soothing state of tranquility that can only arise in an environment with minimal distractions and silence.

Support: Zuurpruimpje

Behind the name ‘zuurpruimpje‘ is the artist Moos, who writes and produces their own music. This results in dreamy Dutch-language songs with lyrics addressing emotional topics, with the aim of reaching and connecting with people. With a soft guitar sound and calm harmonic singing, zuurpruimpje creates an atmosphere that momentarily makes you pause and reflect on yourself.
