Compelling mix of synthpop, post-rock and electronics by an Amsterdam trio
The Klangstof trio seemed to come out of nowhere, stormed both Coachella and Bonnaroo as one of the first Dutch bands and toured with acts such as Jagwar Ma, Miike Snow and The Flaming Lips. After leading many year lists with debut album ‘Close Eyes To Exit’, Klangstof dived into the electronic depths with EP ‘Everest’. In the meantime, Klangstof has arrived at album number three under the name ‘Godspeed to the Freaks’, which was released in September 2022. The trio then explored their pure power as a live band by experimenting with raw demos. These experiments resulted in a warm and organic electronic live sound.
