RAPIDLY EMERGING SINGER-SONGWRITER CRAFTS SINCERE FOLK-POP ENRICHED WITH SOUNDSCAPES.

The rapidly emerging singer-songwriter néomí shares sincere and authentic stories. Inspired by both classical and contemporary folk artists, supported by dreamy soundscapes, the musical journey of the Dutch/Surinamese artist began after a disappointing experience with piano lessons, initially leading her to decide never to pursue music again. This changed when she heard the song ‘Old Pine’ by Ben Howard; it inspired her to learn to play the guitar and start writing her own songs. She is currently working on her debut album, has performed as a support act for HAEVN, The Slow Show, and SYML, and was recognized as a 3voor12 talent for the Popronde 2022 and 3FM talent. Leading up to the release, she is touring the Netherlands, making a promising stop at EKKO.

Support = Iskander Moon

The 23-year-old from Zelzate has embarked on a rich musical journey, from touring with the choir ensemble Collegium Vocale to composing polyphonic pieces. Under his alter ego ‘Iskander Moon,’ he quietly built his solo career, presenting simple, heartfelt pop songs with poignant lyrics behind his ivory keys. His debut single ‘Saturday Silence’ received airplay on Belgian radio stations, and his debut EP, scheduled for April 2024, promises more of his compelling folk music.
