FIVE-PIECE FUZZPOP BAND SHOWS THE ADORABLE IN ROUGH GUITAR MUSIC
The fuzz pop band POM from Amsterdam is known for their contrasting songs. Cheerful melodies are combined with fierce lyrics and grinding guitars are accompanied by recognizable scenes about everyday life. They get their inspiration from Britpop, punk and garage rock. With a sound that is raw and hard as well as cheerful and infectious, POM has created a unique mix of genres that is all their own. They prove that loud music can also have a sweet edge.
POM has been circulating in the Dutch indie scene for a while now and is no longer an unknown name. After performances at KINK, 3voor12 and 3FM, they were named number two of Noorderslag ’22. Now that an entire club tour has passed, they are busy making their debut album, which they will release this year.
POM has already proven itself as a strong live act with their last club tour, especially with their show in ACU last December. During their new tour you can count on a hard and energetic performance including a bouncing front singer.
