Hyperpop star opens colorful, versatile club night full of glitter and free expression
This edition of Queer in Wonderland opens with a live show by Chinese hyperpop star Alice Longyu Gao. The genre-bending artist takes a punk approach to pop, drawing influence from styles such as trap and J-pop, and has also previously collaborated with Crystal Castles’ Alice Glass and Bring Me The Horizon’s Oliver Sykes. In the spring of 2023, xe will release a new EP, followed by this first Dutch live show in EKKO.
After Alice Longyu Gao’s show, we will see our dance floor light up again by your glittering faces and bright colors. Prepare yourself for an unforgettable evening full of house, hyperpop, techno & queer hits.
