Dark, pulsating, and danceable clash of EBM, synthwave, and post-punk from the underground of Los Angeles.

Since their rise in 2015, Sextile has turned the Los Angeles underground upside down with synth-infused, rebellious post-punk with EBM influences. The trio captivates every audience they encounter with dark and danceable performances, inevitably culminating in unforgettable musical climaxes. Founded by frontman Brady Keen and drummer Melissa Scaduto, the band, despite a tumultuous history with changing band members and the tragic loss of guitarist Eddie Wuebben in 2019, released their well-received new album ‘Push’ in 2023. After performances at Vera and the new Nijmegen festival Zeitgeist last year, they are coming to our stage on Bemuurde Weerd for their only Dutch club show in 2024. And we are definitely looking forward to it.

Support = Nuxx Vomica

Nuxx Vomica is the dark techno project of New Yorker Madeline Seely. Inspired by EBM, 90’s techno, and Eurodance, Nuxx Vomica knows how to give the evening a powerful and danceable twist. With dynamic performances and recent releases such as ‘FTEV’ and ‘No Money’ on Synthicide Records, Seely continues to evolve as a musician and producer. Like an unstoppable force, you’ll find Nuxx Vomica amidst the strobe lights of various clubs, while her music pumps through to the dance floor.
