Merciless trio brings a dissident storm of punk, post-metal & screamo

The French trio Birds In Row has been at the forefront of their genre for years. After a long time, the progressive hardcore punk band comes out of the shadows for a European tour. In the meantime, they have certainly not been idle, and released their album ‘Gris Klein’ in 2022. On this album with their poetic and contrary lyrics they, once again, embody everything hardcore punk should be . The record is the successor to the earlier well-received album ‘We Already Lost the World’, on which influences such as punk, post-metal and post-hardcore can be heard. The threesome’s live show becomes a compelling musical storm of power and energy.

Karnabahar

Screamo band Karnabahar consists of members from GGGOLDDD, Second Guessing, and Ostende, and is even more than the sum of its parts. A must-see, indeed. This internationally based quartet in the Netherlands is quickly making a name for itself in the hardcore scene but is also not averse to emo and punk. Expect a preview of their destructive debut album, Grimace, at Doomstad.

Quentin Sauvé
Birds In Row bassist Quentin Sauvé is not limited to just one style. On his own, this Frenchman creates layered and dreamy compositions in which he uses his guitar in a completely different way than is customary with Birds In Row. Earlier this year, Sauvé released his second full-length album, on which he blends elements of folk and electronic music in his own unique way.
