Beautiful, warm indie folk from a six-piece band from Switzerland

The Swiss band Black Sea Dahu is the close-knit group around singer-songwriter Janine Cathrein. With 2018’s debut album ‘White Creatures’ and its 2022 follow-up ‘I Am My Mother’, the six-piece band has established themselves as a genre favorite. Their music is characterized as deeply personal and intimate, but at the same time creates a warm and welcoming atmosphere for the listener. A performance by the band promises a nice trip for fans of indie folk greats such as Big Thief and Ben Howard.

Support: Augusta
Augusta’s refined, minimalist folk sound is hard to resist. Influenced by a mix of American folk and artists such as Laura Marling and Joni Mitchell, the songwriter aims for simplicity in both words and music. It results in a subtle world of lovingly written songs.
