BAND SURROUNDING AMSTERDAM MULTI-INSTRUMENTALIST COMBINES PUNK ROCK WITH SOUTH AMERICAN INFLUENCES

Indian Askin is back, and how. As groovy and loud as ever, but now augmented with surprising angles in a new formation. After a short stop, producer and multi-instrumentalist Chino Ayala decided to come back with new band members. One can hear how the band’s recognizable groovy sound with an obsession with punk rock and grunge remains alive and well, but now draws inspiration from its South American roots. The success of their first two albums brought Indian Askin to festivals throughout the Netherlands and far beyond; therefore, expectations for the third album are justifiably high.

Support: Rats and Daggers
A power trio that seeks the razor-sharp edge between heavy and punk. Rats and Daggers concentrates the impact of IDLES, the flair of Queens of the Stone Age, and the carefree attitude of Amyl and The Sniffers into rapid punk rock projectiles that instantly swell the mosh pits. Live, they are disarming and exceptionally expressive, playing with a energy that emanates from the toes. In addition to their sold-out debut EP release show at dBs, Rats and Daggers have already performed at the Melkweg and participated in 21 shows during Popronde 2022.
